JK Coilover Conversion
This is the new Alpha-1 bolt-on coilover conversion kit for '07-and-up Jeep Wrangler JKs. It's an industry first because it is engineered to be completely bolt-on, requiring no welding whatsoever. The kit's creator, Outlaw Offroad, tells us that the system removes the factory coil springs and lets the end user bolt-on whatever brand of coilover shock he wants. Designed with the do-it-yourselfer in mind, the kit is easy to install and is upgradable in stages for those who don't want to spend as much right off the bat. Wheel travel is said to be optimized, and they even offer a hydraulic bump-stop option for go-fast enthusiasts. The Alpha-1 kit can accommodate between 33- to 44-inch tires, and is available for both two- and four-door models, with or without factory axles. Breathe Easy
Do you own a '03-'07 Dodge Ram with the torque-monster Cummins 6.7L? The new BladeRunner exhaust manifold represents the latest in airflow technology from Advance Flow Engineering (aFe). The part is constructed from 304 stainless steel for maximum durability in high heat conditions. The design includes two EGT probe ports to provide end-users with the ability to measure EGTs on each bank of the exhaust manifold. The EGT ports are positioned inline with the air stream as to not disrupt the exhaust flow. The thick one-piece design has beefy reinforcement ribs between each exhaust port to increase the strength and eliminate cracking commonly found on stock manifolds. In recent testing, aFe found this manifold to increase exhaust flow by 23 percent over stock, lower EGTs, and improve throttle response at the same time. Stop the Wobble
If your '05-'09 Ford Super Duty exhibits steering wheel oscillation when you hit bumps at highway speeds, the folks at WC Motorsports & Offroad have a solution that will eliminate the lateral movement of the body and frame over the suspension. It will also help with bumpsteer by making the drag link and track bar parallel. Two kits are available.
