How can it be wrong when it feels so right? The Burnout Competition is fascinating to watch as folks turn their meats into worthless piles of molten rubber.

Those of you familiar with the 4-Wheel Jamboree Series will recognize the town of Canfield, Ohio, as a past "Jambo" location. You'll recall that for six years, the Buckeye 4-Wheel Jamboree was a staple in eastern Ohio until 2003 when, due to scheduling conflicts, the event was placed on hiatus. Well, last July, after a four-year absence, the Canfield Fairgrounds once again hosted a major four-wheel-drive festival. This time it was called the Truck & Jeep Fest, and it featured all the familiar and popular Jambo fare. It differed from its predecessor in a big way, though, because it benefited from the added muscle of the aftermarket-leading companies that were its presenters: 4Wheel Parts and 4-Wheel Drive Hardware. The result was a hugely successful event that drew 659 participants, 142 exhibitors, and 10,671 spectators. If you want to put the Truck & Jeep Fest on your '08 calendar, go to www.familyevents.com for all the particulars.
