Top Truck Challenge: The Early Years
Actually, it's Year 1 of Top Truck, 1993. We thought it might be cool to take a look back at the first year of our signature event, which was held 15 years ago this month. (The first time around, we held TTC over Labor Day week. Bad idea---temperatures in Hollister are routinely in excess of 100 degrees in September!) As you will see, there were certainly some unusual rigs in attendance, and a number events we don't bother to run anymore. But in the end, it all came down (as it usually does) to the dreaded Tank Trap, which was won by the first year's overall winner. Anyway, have fun with our original coverage---and with our retina-busting art direction.
