The crowd went nuts when Curtis Warner of Armstrong, B.C., launched his custom Jeep YJ buggy skyward on the final climb of the high-speed trail run on day two. This Gear Centre Group-sponsored rig is simple and strong, built specifically for competition. We favored Warner for at least one win. Unfortunately, mechanical issues kept it from happening.
