Are you one of the many Jeep Grand Cherokee owners across the country? Would you like to head west for a challenging weekend in one of the most beautiful outdoor destinations available? Then we suggest you grab hold of your GPS unit and head to N 38 degrees 34.227 by W 109 degrees 33.072. Moab, Utah, is a small town sitting atop the Colorado River, resting between Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. For eight straight years, the North American Grand Cherokee Association (NAGCA) has been organizing the Grand Slam West event that has brought Grand Cherokee owners from across the country together for a weekend of adventure and carnage. With trail ratings from Easy to Very Difficult, we found everything from nearly stock to completely caged rigs tackling some of the toughest terrain around. Can't make it out West? Not a problem. The NAGCA also holds its Grand Slam events in the East, Midwest, Southwest, and an in-the-works Northeast event. Visit www.nagca.com for information regarding upcoming events close to you.
