July 26-27, 2008
Championship Off Road Racing returned to The Quarry at Chula Vista, California for the first of three stops in 2008. CORR history was made in Round 7 as Carl Renezeder won both the Pro-2 and Pro-4 races in front of a sell out crowd of over 15,000 giving him a career total of 62 wins putting him just ahead of Johnny Greaves who has 60 wins to his name.

The SNORE KC HiLites Midnight Special was held in the desert just outside of Primm Nevada and ran on a 50 mile loop. The race was between 150 and 250 miles depending on the class that you were running in. Turn out was good with 121 vehicles starting the race.

August 16-17, 2008
CORR blasted back into Pomona for what would be the third and final stop of the 2008 series. The track proved to be difficult for the skilled drivers as crash after crash took trucks out of the race. CORR was serious this weekend and handed out Black Flags freely to any driver caught driving too rough.

As the sun set over the Lucerne Valley California desert 73 vehicles lined up to take the green flag at the annual MDR Night Race. Of those 73, a record number were part of the truck classes of 1400 and 1450. There were 14 trucks entered into class 1400 with 8 of them finishing, 5 DNFs, and 1 DNS. Over half the field (49 trucks) were entered into class 1450. Of those, 25 trucks saw the checkered flag wave, 17 DNFed, and 7 were DNS's. It was an epic battle and we can not wait for next year!
