This corral was just off of the main route, and looked like it might still be used for its intended purpose. Cattle ranching still takes place within the Mojave National Preserve. Looking inside the corral, we didn't see any cow patties, but we did see a fire ring. This actually might be a good place to camp. Roadside camping outside of developed campgrounds is allowed in places that have historically been used for this purpose.
