This ’06 TJ is a Rubicon but only the flares give that away from the outside. Jerry Smith has removed the “Rubicon” stickers from the hood and replaced them with “Happy Trails.” The engine, tranny, and T-case he left alone, except for the addition of an AEM Brute Force cold-air intake. The Dana 44 axles are still under the Jeep but they are now stuffed with 4.88 gears and ARB Air Lockers. A TeraFlex 4-inch long-arm suspension combines with a 1-inch body lift to clear the 33-inch Pro Comp tires. Up front a MileMarker winch sits atop a Fab Fours bumper.
