This Is No Trick. Creepy Crawling Is a Treat!

The holidays are a great excuse to get together with friends and family, and Halloween is no exception. With Halloween on a Thursday this year, the kids could get their sugar fix and the whole family could still head to the trails on the weekend.

Any excuse we can find to get together with friends and hit the trails is a good excuse in our book!

That is exactly what this group of friends in New Mexico have been doing for years. “This time of year is usually really nice in the desert,” explained Nate Schuit. “My father and I take my two boys out with us for some canyon crawling and fun around the campfire every year. It has become a tradition.”

While most of the group calls Albuquerque home, wheelers from Caballo and Truth or Consequences joined them this year to take part in the informal party. Any excuse we can find to get together with friends and hit the trails is a good excuse in our book!

Festive 4-Wheelers
While most of the costumes we saw on the trail consisted of Carhartts and T-shirts, many Hallowheelers did decorate their vehicles with skulls, cobwebs, and a variety of other festive décor. Have a photo of your rig decorated for the holidays? Send photos to editor@4wheeloffroad.com.
