Mega-Truck Mud Racing From The Heart of AlabamaPosted in Events on April 28, 2014 Comment (0)
How about some side-by-side, Talladega style, Mega-truck mud racing from the heart of Alabama? That’s exactly what we had the chance to watch when we made the trip over to Talladega, Alabama for the wildest mud racing event we have seen in a long time. Buddy Nelson and a countless crew of volunteers worked extremely hard over the last few months to set up a spectator friendly race track full of mud pits, dirt jumps, and a Nascar style bank that allows the truck to maintain there speed around the corners.
The freestyle competition was just as intense and one of the biggest trucks at the track even tore his front-end apart during the landing. The weekend was full of exciting events and the kids were more than happy to compete in a foot race through the mud. 3 miles of atv trails and mud pits keep the adults entertained and Buddy Nelson capped it all off by jumping his badass General Lee Dodge through a perfectly good motor home. This event is definitely going to get bigger and their next event is only a few weeks away. Check out the website for more info and get your truck ready because its almost time to race! www.facebook.com/rockiehollow.mudbog
