Here’s another shot of it. That YJ nose with fiberglass fenders hides the engine. Underneath is a TH350, Dana 20, and front and rear Dana 44s sourced from a Scout. Even with such a big engine, there is no problem breaking these axles. Remember they are, after all, racing on ice, and ice will be ice no matter how good the Jeep hooks up. With most of the racers on 29-inch tires, there is a lot less torque load than what many of our Jeeps normally see. Cody has the rear Dana 44 welded up, but like many of the others, the front is open so he can use the cutting brakes.
