One of the YJs in attendance was this ’90 model (below) owned by Robert Keller. Under the hood of the Wrangler is a 4.0L motor with a junkyard-sourced TBI conversion. Its wider stance comes from a rear full-float Dana 60 out of a ’73 Dodge truck and a ’72 Chevy Blazer front Dana 44 that’s been swapped over to 8-lug wheel hubs. Lockers, 5.13 gears, and alloy ‘shafts provide the hardware upgrades to turn 38x12.50-16.5 Super Swamper TSLs on Trail Worthy Fab 8-bolt beadlocks. Robert used Rough Country springs for his spring-over conversion with Skyjacker hydro shocks at each corner.
