Transamerican Auto Parts announced the winner to its “Life is Better Off-Road” competition at the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, and taking home top honors is Addictive Desert Designs’ CC Legend Jeep Wrangler JK. The winner was announced at an event hosted by television personality Rutledge Wood at the Transamerican booth.

The competition was open to any SEMA truck, SUV, or Jeep that applied, and a panel of judges (including the Truck Trend Network’s own Sean P. Holman) selected 10 finalists from the eligible entries. Those finalists were whittled down to one Jeep and one truck, and as you now know, the Jeep came out on top. Also judging the competitors were Shannon Campbell, Brian Deegan, Casey Currie, Rick Geiser, and Craig Perronne.

Complete Customs built the Addictive Desert Designs CC Legend to raise awareness for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, an organization that provides support to soldiers and EMS personnel with post-traumatic stress disorder. The Legend will be auctioned off next year for the foundation, and Complete Customs will also build replica models starting next year.

The Legend (and its replica brethren) was treated to Addictive Desert Designs Venom front and rear bumpers, a Rock Krawler Trail Gunner suspension with 5.5 inches of lift, and 40-inch Interco tires. A Warn winch and Rigid Industries LED lighting add utility and security to the Jeep, which was an area of scrutiny for the judges, along with craftsmanship, real-world functionality, and overall presentation.

As part of winning the competition, the Legend will be treated to a full media blast, including a professional photoshoot, social media coverage, and invitations to Transamerican events around the country. We look forward to seeing it raise funds and awareness for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation at our local off-road events soon.
