With a mountain of trails in his very own backyard Erik Cole has to have a capable Jeep. His ’94 Wrangler clears 44-inch Swamper TSLs on 15x10 Allied beadlocks thanks to a custom four-link suspension and 2.5-inch Fox air shocks front and rear. The wheelbase is pulled out to 124 inches but Erik wishes it was a little shorter. A GM 5.3L Vortec V-8 spins into a TH350 tranny and an NP205 with a JB Conversions Lomax 3:1 conversion. The Dana 60 front axle is stuffed with chromoly shafts and U-joints, a Detroit Locker, and 4.56 gears. The rear Dana 60 features like gears and another Detroit Locker.
