Justin Zmieske of Troy, New York, has a good-looking and clean ’05 Wrangler Unlimited, but we have no idea how he keeps it that way considering how he wheels it. He’s got no problems pointing it at the hardest obstacles and giving it the old college try. The 4.0L inline-six, 42RE, and NV241OR are all still present and accounted for, but he’s swapped in a set of Dana 44s out of a JK. The JK axles still run the factory electronic lockers but they are outfitted with 5.13 gears. The axles are located under the Jeep thanks to a 3½-inch Rock Krawler lift with 4 inches of rear wheelbase stretch. The GenRight body armor and fenders provide enough clearance for the 37x12.50R17 Goodyear MT/R with Kevlar tires on 17-inch Raceline Rock Monster beadlocks.
