This ’99 Cherokee has a pair of coils out back rather than the factory leaf springs. The 6½-inch Rock Krawler coil conversion paves the way for 35-inch-tall Goodyear MT/R tires on simulated beadlocks. Frank Asenbauer of Rensselaer, New York, decided to keep most of the stock stuff. Things like the 4.0L, factory transmission, T-case, and axles are all still there. The axles are stuffed with ARB Air Lockers and 4.11 gears and the 4.0L breathes easier thanks to an aftermarket intake but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it works well here. A Protofab front bumper protects the factory fiberglass nose.
