Shaggy Wertheim from Clinton Corners, New York, is one of those guys who will try just about anything once. So far his ’09 Wrangler doesn’t show any scars from that, and hopefully we didn’t just jinx him. It is equipped with a 3½-inch Rock Krawler lift with mid-length arms and 35-inch BFG KM2 mud terrain tires. This Jeep started life as an “X” and then Shaggy swapped an NV241OR in behind the NSG370 six-speed manual. The front Dana 30 and rear Dana 44 were regeared with 4.88 gears and Ected electronic lockers. A River Raider snorkel keeps the hydro from locking up the engine on those sloppier outings.
