This ’95 Wrangler might not have the flash of some of the other Jeeps we were out with, but with a 2.5L four-cylinder and axles from a Chevy truck it isn’t likely to break anything any time soon either. The AX5 and NP231 hand power, such as it is, off to a front Dana 44 and rear GM 12-bolt. Both axles benefit from 5.38 gears and Auburn ECTED lockers, so traction was no problem for Jeff Bieber of Washington, Utah. A 3-inch body lift and spring-over conversion using the factory leaf springs makes plenty of room for the BFG KM2 tires on 15x7 Jeep Wagoneer slotted aluminum wheels.
