Packing a CJ-5 with enough stuff so that you can live out of it for about a week is no easy task. We conned a neighbor into building us a rack that spans from one rear wheelwell to the other. This rack, made of angle iron, is strong and allows lots of space to strap more stuff down. It sits above the spare tire so that in the event of a flat you can drop the tailgate and slide the spare out without totally unpacking the Jeep. We added a rectangular space where our fridge fits snugly atop the rack. Thanks again for the help, Kenny!
