This ’90 Wrangler was piloted by Kyle Congdon, and unlike many YJs of the era, still has the factory 258ci inline-six. Of course, it only still runs because of the Howell fuel-injection system. From there power goes to an AX15 and an NP231. The NP231 splits power through a TeraLow 4:1 and sends it off to a front Dana 60 and rear Spider9. The front axle is a kingpin-equipped unit and has 5.13 gears and an ARB Air Locker. The rear has 35-spline 4340 chromoly shafts, matching gears, and a Detroit Locker. All the beef has no problems with the 40-inch BFG KM2s wrapped around Champion beadlocks.
