The unveiling of the all-new 2017 Ridgeline was the place to be at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit with plenty of curious journalists trying to get a closer look at Honda’s new truck.
Once the masses started to get hungry and go find nourishment, we were able to walk around the truck and see what the new Ridgeline was packing. While we were disappointed to find out the truck wasn’t of a body-on-frame construction and the gap between the bed and cab was fake, there were a few cool features we were pleased to see. The dual-action tailgate and in-bed “trunk” were great features carried over from the original Ridgeline we loved, and we’re glad made it onto the 2017 model. The flat floor offers a tremendous amount of interior storage, as well as passenger room, which makes this midsized truck seem bigger than it is.
There has been no official word from Honda about pricing or an on-sale date for the 2017 Ridgeline, but we will keep you updated when as soon as we know. Check out all the details on Honda’s latest pickup in the video below.
