Memphis International Raceway was the place and trucks were the topic during the Spyder Off-Road Performance Truck Mania event, which took place on October 14, 2017.

The event, sponsored by Four Wheeler Network and Truck Trend Network, was designed to celebrate the truck, with several classes of truck drag racing, a judged truck show with class awards, burnout contest on the dragstrip, exhibition vehicles, and aftermarket goods.

This wasn’t the first Truck Mania event at the Memphis International Raceway (racemir.com), but it was the first to include UTV racing. Yes, it was trucks and more at Truck Mania. The team from the Southern Rock Racing Series (southernrockracing.com), fresh off the season-finale SRRS Cup Championship in Dyersburg, Tennessee, swooped into Truck Mania and designed and built an incredible UTV racecourse. We’re told the racecourse is now a permanent fixture at Memphis International Raceway and UTV racing will be held monthly.

Jeeps were out in force, and they ran the gamut of modifications.

Another cool feature of Truck Mania included the chance to meet Dirt Every Day (roadkill.com/dirt-every-day/) hosts Fred Williams and Dave Chappelle. Additionally, a few of the DED 4x4s were on display including the DED Unimog.

The atmosphere at Truck Mania was relaxed, and the truck was celebrated in all of its facets: from street to dirt to track. For more info on upcoming events visit the Memphis International Raceway website. Check out the huge gallery of photos from the event as well as video!

If you’re into trucks that go fast on pavement, Truck Mania had you covered with several classes of truck drag racing.
The Southern Rock Racing Series folks built a really cool UTV track, and it was a crowd favorite as the UTVs ripped around the course.
There were a few Southern Rock Racing Series rock bouncers on display at Truck Mania so folks could get an up close and personal look at these incredible machines.
Truck fans could peruse parts and accessories too.
The display area of Truck Mania had some interesting rigs, like this Dodge Dakota. It’s not often we see these modified, and this one looked good.
The Dirt Every Day (DED) Unimog was on display and it was driven to the event by DED hosts Fred Williams and Dave Chappelle.
We saw some really cool trucks at Truck Mania, like this tricked-out F-150.
