Las Vegas was the place to be this week as it hosted the 2017 SEMA show. We searched high and low for all the vintage Jeeps on display this year. While we found them fewer in number, the quality was unmatched. Flat fenders, Commandos, to Comanches, yes, we included a Comanche in our Vintage coverage this year, hard to believe they are over 25 years old. Omix-ADA brought some of the rarest Jeeps from their collection, a 1941 Willys MA, 1941 Bantam BRC, and the 1941 Ford GP.
Icebear added a few new mini flattie options this year with their desert camo Air Force edition, and the grey U.S. Navy option. Rugged Radios faux flat fender UTV is an interesting vehicle to look at, but the purist Jeepers may have mixed feelings on it. Color schemes on some of the vintage offerings left a bit to be desired, but we did find a few that truly took our breath away. As much as we loved some of the “retro-mods” we just couldn’t call them true vintage Jeeps. However, we did include some highly modified classics in our gallery.
