Forged PerformanceMahle Motorsports has developed new forged pistons for high-output 6.7L Cummins engines. The pistons are made using Mahle’s proprietary M142 alloy forgings and then machined with specific profile and ovality geometries, profiled pin bores, and radius’d valve pockets. A Grafal skirt coating is used to reduce drag and wear along with hard-anodized top ring grooves.
Better Wastegate ControlNGR Performance’s V3 Wastegate is the first of its type to have three springs in one unit. The use of three springs allows for improved fine-tuning. Each spring activates as adjustments are being made, giving full control of the wastegate. The V3 is available in 38mm and 50mm sizes.

The turbine housing is designed to use stainless steel V-bands on the inlet and outlet.

The kit is designed to improve airflow, decrease charge air temperature, and reduce EGT at any power level. A key feature of the kit is the 3-inch aluminum mandrel-bent intercooler piping that has been engineered with less restrictive bends for maximum airflow. The intercooler is a bar-and-plate design with durable cast-aluminum end tanks. The kit also includes silicone boots and constant-tension T-bolt clamps

Big RodsPushrods are an integral part of a Cummins engine. If they fail, so does the engine. That’s why Manton Pushrods developed ½-inch-diameter chromoly “drop-in” pushrods with .120- and .188-wall thickness for 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins from ’98½-to-present. The rods are rated for 2,000 hp and are a good addition to a daily driver.
Adapting DieselFitting a diesel engine into short-wheelbase rigs like Jeeps, Scouts, Toyotas, and Broncos can be a daunting task. Quickdraw Brands designed its SAE 3 to NV4500 bellhousing adapter kit to make it easier. The kit’s unique aluminum bellhousing’s short profile provides the extra room needed to install an oil-burner in engine bays normally too tight for fitment. Any compression-ignition power unit with an SAE 3 bellhousing pattern can be mated to an NV4500 manual transmission with the housing.

Braking ControlBeing able to control a truck’s speed is important, so AFE Power introduced the Brakelogic Exhaust Brake Controller for ’17-to-’18 Ford trucks with 6.7L Power Stroke diesels. The plug-and-play controller electronically closes off turbocharger vanes to provide engine braking. It is able to provide braking assistance up to 130 retarding horsepower, while controlling transmission downshifts (when needed) and maintaining constant speed on descents. It easily plugs in and utilizes the “Tow/Haul” switch for operation.
