Hidden behind those eight Pro Comp steering stabilizers is a reverse-cut Dana 60. The centersection has been rotated 37 degrees to compensate for the tall suspension lift. It's stuffed with a Detroit Locker, and rides on custom 18-inch-lift leaf springs with extended shackles.

The rear axle is a Dana 70 sourced from an '87 Ford ambulance. Like the front, it features a Detroit Locker and 5.13 gears. The rear suspension is composed of Skyjacker 8-inch-lift rear springs with welded-in spacer blocks.

The tall Ford was a challenge to climb into, so Rivera designed this retractable strap, made from a seatbelt. He simply reaches in and pulls the belt to the end of its spool, pulls himself into the truck, and the belt automatically retracts back into the housing.
