The Chevy 454 marine block was bored 0.030-over and uses TRW pistons under Edelbrock heads. All reciprocating parts were balanced. Other additions include an Accel coil, Bosch spark plugs, Splitfire wires, an Edelbrock ignition amplifier and a Dynamic Gear oil pump. The big Chevy develops an estimated 540 hp at 5,500 rpm.
