Vehicle/model: '91 Chevy Z-71
Body: Custom white paint
Powertrain mods: The 5.7L V-8 was tweaked with a Hypertech computer chip, 2 ½-inch dual exhaust and glasspack mufflers, while the 700R4 transmission was heavily modified with Corvette internals and a shift kit.
Running gear: IFS, Corporate 10-bolt rear with Auburn rear limited-slip, Richmond 3.73:1 gears.
Suspension: Trail Master 6-inch lift, Skyjacker shocks, Pro Comp ladder bars, Explorer Pro Comp kicker shocks, custom prerunner-style skidplate.
Interior: Auto Meter tachometer with shift light, Grant GT steering wheel, JVC head unit and 12-disc CD changer, Alpine equalizer, Rockford Fosgate amplifier, 10 speakers, two 10-inch subwoofers, custom headliner with raised Chevy emblem.
Tires/wheels: 35x12.50-15 Mickey Thompson Claw/15x12 Eagle 058 rims.
Fascinating fact: McRoberts painted the truck himself after bolting on a 3-inch body lift, a Harwood cowl hood, and a '95 Chevy grille. He completed the project with new stainless steel moldings and chrome.
