Just like many of the other components on his Blazer, it took Szczepanik a few tries to find a transfer-case setup that he liked. He tried the stock NP208, an NP205, and a divorce-mount NP205 before he settled on the current system, an NP203/205 combo made possible by an Off Road Design Doubler kit. The pair is held in place by a duo of custom-made crossmembers. The 'cases are shifted via shifters that use cable instead of linkage. This cable setup helps avoid binding when the truck is radically tweaked on the trail. View Related Article
