This is the late-style closed-knuckle axle used by the elder Livingood from around 1920 and reproduced by the son today. The housing section on the left replaces the original piece, and the right section is original Ford. Model-T wheels were different front to rear, but on the conversion you use rear wheels up front; they have the driving hub with a slot for a Woodruff key. Note the spring modification needed.

The left knuckle is grafted onto an original Ford housing section. Axleshafts are custom pieces, though the outers are tapered and keyed for the Ford rear wheel.

The Livingood Trail-T and a buddy. The 1919 Model T roadster pickup on the left is equipped with a snowmobile conversion. These bolt-on kits were built in West Ossipe, New Hampshire, after about 1923. The conversion fitted tracks to the rear and skis to the front. For summer, the kit could be removed for normal driving. With wheels up front and the tracks in back, you could get around during mud season as well.
