When we got the news that Fab Fours had signed up to sponsor Top Truck Challenge '07, we decided that a collaboration was in order. What better way to demonstrate our appreciation to TTC competitors than to team up with the industry's premier bumper company on the official TTC competitor support rig. As such, the truck had to be outfitted with a whole assortment of tools and equipment for anything that could go wrong at the event. Intending to aid competitors in need, we wanted something with enough weight to assist with extractions if necessary.

A brand-new Inferno Red Cummins-powered '07 Dodge Ram Mega Cab dualie provided an excellent platform for our lengthy wish list of repair equipment. The idea was to mount all the essentials in the bed of the truck and invite participants to use the rig whenever needed. In the end, each and every tool furnished was used by every competitor at least once, if not multiple times. The rig was a popular conversation piece during the event as well. Support personnel were elated to know that they had easy access to a welder, a plasma cutter, a torch, and an Oasis air compressor if something were to go south during the event. The concept was well received and thanks in part to Fab Fours, Hobart, and Mickey Thompson, we should be able to use it at TTC for many years to come.

Mickey Thompson kicked down a set of 46x19.5-20 Baja Claw tires mounted to a set of Dick Cepek DC-1 wheels. Luckily, Yukon Gear was gracious enough to supply us with a set of 4.56:1 gears to help compensate for the massive meats.
 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Toolbox
The front portion of the bed features a medium-size locking toolbox with a high-output Oasis air compressor to run the air suspension and any variety of air tools required by competitors.

Under the Mega-Mega's rear is a whole assortment of goodies. First off, notice the air suspension system with an Accuair ride controller. Next, you can't miss the Bilstein 5100 remote-reservoir shocks designed to keep bumps at bay. And don't let us forget to mention the 5-inch Bully Dog exhaust system in place to help control exhaust gas temps.

2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Front View
At each end of the Mega-Mega, a stout Fab Fours bumper was equipped with anchor points ready to tackle any task. TTC judges used them more than once to aid with extractions. Up front, the T-Max 12,000-pound winch came in very handy assisting with removals from the Frame Twister. Four Light Force HID lights were on standby in case of a solar eclipse.
 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Welder
Hobart came through for our cause big-time with the incredible Champion 10,000 generator/stick welder and a Handler 210 MIG welder with spool gun for welding aluminum. There is also an AirForce 250ci plasma cutter with built-in air compressor, a pair of auto-darkening welding helmets, and several pairs of premium welding gloves. As you can see, the whole setup was built on a removable skid that could be picked up as one unit for easy loading and unloading.
 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Suspension
Up front, it's hard to miss the absence of coil springs, and yes, the airbag kit does feature 18 inches of lift at maximum ride height. Imagine the ability to drop ride height by nearly 2 feet at the push of a button.
