Squier retained the factory suspension and axles. The axles are Dana 70s with 95/8-inch ring-gear diameter and 5.83:1 gearing. The suspension consists of standard leaf springs and shocks. Squier notes, This works better than expected but it still rides like an old Power Wagon."

The stock divorced two-speed transfer case was relocated 2.5 feet rearward to make room for the new transmission. This placed it under the Power Wagon's cargo box. Naturally this new position required new driveshafts, and all three were custommade by Universal Joint Specialists of Fort Smith.
