1971 Gmc Stepside Rear Gm 14 Bolt Axle
1971 GMC Stepside Truck - Phat In Matte
Custom Differentials built the rear axle too, and it's a GM 14-bolt. It's built to handle whatever McGilton can dish out, with Moser chromoly axleshafts, 5.13:1 gears, a spool, Custom Differentials disc brakes, and a Dynatrac diff cover. The suspension is simple, yet functional and similar to the front. It's comprised of Superlift 6-inch-lift leaves and a pair of Bilstein 5150 Series piggyback shocks. A pair of custom SIPerformance-built traction bars ensures that the 39.5-inch Swampers stay planted under hard acceleration. View Related Article
