Yards of custom-bent tubing...
Yards of custom-bent tubing protect the Eulbergs and the modified CJ-7 body. Other features include Krylon rust-resistant paint, Light Force and "cheap-o" rock lights, a Warn M15000 winch, custom-fabricated frame members, and 49.5-inch Super Swamper IROKs on custom, CNC-machined, two-piece 20-inch wheels.
Jamie Eulberg (our only female driver this year) lists her occupation as "administrative," but in the days leading up to Top Truck she wasn't administrating, she was gettin' her hands dirty wrenching on her CJ-7 alongside her husband Dave. They worked right up until the last minute on their tall rig, completing preparations the day before the event.

Just like the front, the custom... Just like the front, the custom rear four-link suspension utilizes Sway-A-Way hydraulic bumpstops and RaceRunner remote-reservoir coilover shocks. Also like the front, there's a menacing 2 1/2-ton Rockwell axle with Detroit Locker, Toyota-infused pinion brake, and full hydraulic steering. In this photo, you can also see the custom integrated framework, pinion brake protection, and fuel tank. | The front leaf spring/dual... The front leaf spring/dual shock suspension shown in the April issue has been replaced by a custom four-link system with flexy Sway-A-Way RaceRunner remote-reservoir coilover shocks and Sway-A-Way hydraulic bumpstops. The front 2 1/2-ton Rockwell axle remains in place, however, and it still sports a Detroit Locker and pinion brake with Toyota rotor and four-piston calipers. Pointing the big IROKs is easy, thanks to full hydraulic steering. | The wizards at TNT Automotive... The wizards at TNT Automotive in Meadow Vista, California, worked their machine work magic on the 454 big-block. This bored and TBI-topped engine has custom headers, 51/2-inch semi-truck exhaust stacks, a K&N air filter, Painless wiring, a Howe aluminum radiator and a pair of Optima batteries. Power is routed through a modified heavy-duty TH400 trans (with auxiliary cooler, reverse valve body, and shift kit) to an Atlas 4.3 transfer case where the torque is split to the axles via J. E. Reel driveshafts. |
All of the original CJ interior... All of the original CJ interior components are long gone. The rig now sports a custom dash and rollcage, Chevy Tahoe seating, a Grant steering wheel, dump truck shifter, and a collection of Auto Meter gauges so that Eulberg can monitor what's up with her big-block engine. | | |
