What began as a stock 390ci big-block is now a torque-happy, 408ci high-performance powerplant, featuring TRW pistons, a Comp Cams bumpstick, ported and polished cylinder heads, a Moroso windage tray, a Carter 625-cfm fuel mixer, a Mallory ignition, MSD plug wires, and chromed Edelbrock valve covers and air filter housing. Virginia Auto in Phoenix performed the machine work on the now-powerful V-8.
