4x ResponseAs a disaster relief worker and a member of the Search and Rescue team for the local Sheriff's Department, Roger Woodcock and his '88 Chevy Suburban get plenty of time off road. The modifications on his vehicle include a 6-inch Cepek suspension lift with a 3-inch Performance Accessories body lift and 36x14.50 Super Swamper tires. A beefed-up Turbo 400 transmission behind the 350 small-block with a Gibson after-cat exhaust and headers provide extra off-road punch. In the interior, two-way communication is provided by Kenwood, Motorola, and Yaesu. Bucket seats, tinted windows, a Con-Ferr roof rack, and an Alpine security system round off the list of extras.
Four-Wheelin' RangerJon Burnett from Paso Robles, California, is only 17 years old but spends most of his time and energy customizing his off-road machine. Underhood is a True Rev cold-air intake system, a Superchip, and an after-cat Flowmaster exhaust system. Exterior goodies include APC clear marker lights, APC Euro taillights, and a billet grille. Doleshal's Z71This Chevy Z71 truck belongs to Brian Doleshal from Boulder City, Nevada. The boost in the power department comes from a Flowmaster exhaust and an aftermarket chip. The truck also has a Kenwood CD player that powers three JL 8-inch subwoofers, and the windows have limo tint.
