The rear suspension is no less radical than the front. The Geiser Brothers built a four-link suspension for the Silverado -- note the massive lower links. The Chrisman axlehousing cycles through 33 inches of travel, which is achieved and controlled through the use of King coilover shocks and King bypass dampers. Also, note the full under-belly skidder and the clean design of the rear suspension's reinforcement tubing. Those Geiser brothers know their stuff.
