The new Adventure Edition Road Atlas is now available from National Geographic. The guide highlights recreational destinations around the United States, Canada, and Mexico and is broken down into four major chapter headings: Adventure USA, National Parks, Road Maps, the Index, and Resources. Detailed emphasis is placed on the great treasures of our nation - the national parks.

The atlas describes in detail sporting adventure activities available in the East, Central, Mountain, and Pacific regions of the U.S. Recreational activities are highlighted within the national park system and the parks' surrounding areas. Information also includes contact information, phone numbers, Web sites, fees, accommodations, and history of the parks.

The colorful state-by-state mapping section is clearly marked with symbols and icons indicating points of interest, colored highway markers, and much more. The atlas also contains a resources chapter listing commerce and tourism information for each state.

National Geographic's Trails
Illustrated Maps are the perfect complement to this atlas and offer more detailed information, such as topography, four-wheel-drive trails, and mountain-bike trails, and are printed on waterproof mapping paper for long life.

Since four-wheelers are adventurers at heart, we highly recommend stowing a copy of this road atlas in your traveling vehicle.
