Black Hills Flattie
Bryan Thornburg from Rapid City, South Dakota, loves 'wheeling the Black Hills. He states his therapy for the bumps and grinds of daily life is 'wheeling his '48 CJ-2A in and around South Dakota's famous hills. Bryan built the flattie with a brand-new 4.3L crate motor, TH350 transmission, and a Dana 300 transfer case with a twin stick. The tub rests on a custom-built frame, and the wheels are attached to Dana 44 axles.

Beyond Rubicon
The list of modifications for Mike Johnson's '04 Jeep Rubicon was as long as an 11-inch sheet of legal paper. We're sorry to say we can't list all the cool mods, but we will tell you that Mike and his best buddy completed all the modifications themselves in Mike's garage. Mike has 'wheeled this capable rig from the Hammer trails to Moab, and this shot of the rig is on one of Johnson Valley's famous Hammer trails last summer.

Northwest Adventurer
Luke Erickson, 21 years old, sent us this image of his '93 Jeep Cherokee exploring the great northwest backcountry around Mount Rainer. The XJ features an 8-1/2-inch lift suspension system, Detroit Lockers, and 4:11 gears.

Daily 'Wheeler
Not only does this '95 Jeep YJ take Jamie Lee of Sandusky, Ohio, to work everyday, but it helps him tour the toughest trails he can find in southern Ohio. This is Jamie's first Jeep, and he tells us that the built rig will be with him for life.
