Bolt-on Performance With DynoMax

Whether you're a gearhead, a performance freak, or just an average Joe trying to squeeze every last drop of performance out of your four-wheeler, you'll like DynoMax's easy bolt-on Super Turbo Muffler and After-cat System. Numerous factors make this kit an attractive purchase: performance, fitment, and ease of installation. It is also available for numerous applications.

Most likely, a person of limited mechanical skills could install the after-cat exhaust system in an hour or less. At the very least, you could complete the installation with a couple of wrenches, a hammer, and some liquid wrench-type spray. The additional use of a cut-off tool or Sawzall, grinder, MIG welder (optional), small sledge, and junk screwdriver would make the installation move both quickly and simply.

DynoMax's Turbo Muffler offers a flow rate of 410 cfm, while OEM mufflers offer around 225 cfm. The muffler's patented flow directors channel exhaust flow and eliminate turbulence. The all-aluminized materials give it a long life, and the fiberglass matting delivers a mellow performance sound. We were worried about the system making our vehicle noisy and obnoxious, but we were quite impressed with the quiet, low-pitched sound.

The hardest part of the installation was removing the old exhaust system from the catalytic converter back. The easiest way is to just cut everything off. If you have ever struggled to loosen an 8-year-old exhaust bolt, you know what we're talking about. We really like the fact that the new pipe out the rear of the vehicle after the muffler fit better than the factory pipe. With the new one, there are no more clearance issues between the high point in the pipe bend and the underside of the car. The new pipe also fit better between the track bar and fuel tank. The kit can be completely bolted on, or it can be welded at the connection points.
