DVD Review - Rock'n n Roll'n

With this issue including our article covering the recent 40th Annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, we thought it would be appropriate to let you know about a new off-road DVD that showcases some of the toughest Moab has to offer. Rock'n n Roll'n is the latest four-wheeling DVD brought to you by the people at White Knight Productions.

The video starts off at a 2005 W.E. Rock rockcrawling event in Moab, showing that Obstacle B5 presents a challenge for any trail rig, from a highly modified TJ to a custom crawling buggy.

The next segment of the video is set in Moab as well during a trail day with a group of highly modified Jeeps, custom buggies, and one monster neon green six-wheel Dodge Ram. They take on Devil's Gate, Escalator, Hot Tub, Dump Bump, Rocker Knocker, and more. Most of us don't wish for a rainy day on the trail, especially when climbing over slickrock, but such a combination of the elements does make for some great footage. A few of the participants push it to the limits trying to get through Hot Tub, but because of all the rainfall, a good number of them end up on their lids.

One feature of this video we really enjoyed was that they let the camera run and don't just show you a 2-second shot of the vehicle going through the obstacle. Being able to see what the participants go through, over and over, trying to overcome each barrier along the trail is truly remarkable. It really makes you appreciate the time and money off-roaders put into their rigs, not to mention the proof of experience.

We recommend picking up a copy of Rock'n n Roll'n to see for yourself.
