December 1, 2007It was a cold and blustery day in the nevada desert and almost 140 trucks, buggies, motorcycles, atVs, and UtVs lined up to take the green flag in the final race of the Best in the desert 2007 series, the henderson's terrible "400." While many had their sights set on championships, others were just out to finish. in the end, chuck hovey took the overall win in the #1518 class 1500 buggy with a time of 5 hours, 59 minutes, and 46 seconds (5:59:46). chuck also took home the class 1500 championship and the King of the desert award. Our congratulations go out to all the competitors for a great season!

December 1, 2007The mojave off-road racing enthusiasts always do a great job of putting on awesome races that benefit great causes. the holiday 200, held in Barstow, california, was both the season closer and toy drive to help the toys for tots program. each team was encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to help those less fortunate. this race was also unique in that instead of being a single loop or a point-to-point race, it took drivers on two separate and unique loops, one long and one short. this is a race we truly can't wait to see again next year!

December 8, 2007Every year around this time (well, for the last four years, anyway), an awesome event comes to the Glen helen raceway Park in devore, california; it's called the Baja cup challenge. a venue best known for its motocross track and motorcycle/atV events, the Glen helen raceway Park is an awesome venue for a short-course desert race, and those competitors brave enough to take on the rain and cold were treated to a racing experience they will not soon forget. this is one race we highly recommend watching, no, racing in next year!
