Jacy Christiansen of Lehi, Utah, was Kevin Hawkins' spotter while they were rock-crawling competitors. He owns a very clean 1997 TJ Sport that has been an ongoing project. Over the years, between jobs as a construction manager, Jacy has slowly built his Wrangler into a clean and capable trail rig.
Jacy built much of his TJ himself, but to do some of the work he enlisted the help of Kevin Hawkins. Kevin has a knack of "Kevinizing" Jeeps and his attention to detail is outstanding. Jacy told us that if he was building this project again, he would build it the same, but start with a TJ Unlimited for the extra room.
Jacy was once an excellent spotter. Now, he's an excellent driver driving his own excellent Jeep.
