Northern Utah's Mount Logan Off-Road has become one of the premier JK Wrangler shops in North America. They know what works and what doesn't. Over the years, they've found that the JK is so competent off the showroom floor, less is more when performing a buildup – even when building a vehicle destined for harder trails.
Steve Bennion, Mt. Logan's owner, purchased a new 2008 JK Unlimited Rubicon, worked on the front and rear JK Dana 44s, and installed a full line of Mount Logan's Rock Slide Engineering products. The suspension is Teraflex LCG with Rock Slide Engineering long lower aluminum control arms. Beefy 38x14.50R17LT Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar tires were mounted on 17x9 Black Rock Viper wheels.
This Mount Logan JK impressed us with its simplicity and competence. It works very well on the trail and on the highway to and from the trail. It shows how good the Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon is, as well as the awesome capabilities of Mount Logan Off-Road.
