A 2001 Chevy LS-1 engine sits between the rails and is well-adorned with many premium components, including a set of headers from Advance Adapters. The radiator, Be Cool fan, and engine mounts are also from Advance Adapters, as is the engine-to-transmission adapter. Exhaust exits the rear via a 3-inch Flowmaster muffler installed by A-1 Muffler in Grand Junction, Colorado. The ECM is mounted to the firewall in a custom bracket made by DCU. Also in view is the DCU Power Brake Conversion, which adds a dual-diaphragm brake booster and high-pressure master cylinder to the braking system. The PSC power steering reservoir is situated well away from the heat of the engine.
