The original Dana 44 race axle with 4.56 gears is clamped into factory Ford radius arms. Suspension consists of heavy-duty replacement coils and an array of six Pro Comp twin tube shocks. The shocks mount to towers on the frame rails and to tabs mounted on the trailing arms. Original shocks back in the day were made by Gabriel. Brakes were upgraded when the Bronco was built using a Hickey front disc conversion with Dodge calipers. A power Saginaw box handles steering chores and is bolted to the frame with extra bracing.
