The 302 V-8 is a great match for the Bronco’s size and weight. This one’s been treated to aftermarket bolt-ons, but is a fairly mild mill otherwise. The hydroboost brake system delivers sure stopping power without relying on engine vacuum to make it happen. That’s a Corvette master cylinder, which was a good match for the brakes that came with the full-size ’79 axles. The biggest bummer under the hood is the radiator, as this Bronco tends to run too hot for comfort.
