Remarkably, the factory Carter Thermoquad carburetor flows enough to support the stroker engine. After the engine, the power is routed through a TF727 three-speed automatic transmission built with extra clutch plates and a 2,800-rpm stall B&M torque converter. The divorce-mount NP205 splits power to the front and rear axles. While it is not the lightest choice, this huge gear-driven transfer case is strong enough to withstand the power of the mighty Mopar and the 2:1 low-range provides good gear reduction for the sand.
