Long Haul Bow Tie

Vehicle: 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4X4
Owner: Shaughn “Shoggin” Reid
Location: Drove 8,600 miles from Los Angeles to Pitman, New Jersey
Chassis: Stock hydroformed GM frame rails
Engine: LB7 Duramax turbo diesel, AFE air filter, Optima batteries, Edge Hot Juice programmer, So Cal Diesel tuning
Drivetrain: Allison transmission, ATS torque convertor, ATS transmission pan, Amsoil transmission oil, polished aluminum rear driveshaft, 14-bolt rear differential, Oasis cover, Amsoil gear oil
Suspension: Front RCD 6-inch lift, RCD lower control arm drop brackets and steering knuckles, fabricated chromoly upper control arms with uniballs and dual shock mounts, fabricated shock hoops, custom sway bar links, Deaver leaf springs in the rear, 5,000-pound air bags, long shackles, Bilstien 7100 reservoir shocks, dual ProComp Explorer ES9000 shocks
Steering: PSC power steering pump, 0.75 in. Heim joint tie rods
Brakes: Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads
Tires/Wheels: 35X12.5R20 Federal Couragia tires on 20 x 10 Moto Metal 951 wheels with 4.5 in. BS Gorilla lugs and Slime sealant
Interior: Tan Leather, Kenwood 7100 Navigation system, Alpine head unit with 800W amp in the rear, pair of 10-inch MTX dual voice coil subwoofers in a box behind the seat and a 1000-watt amp, air gauge, Edge display, Mexican blanket in back for the dogs
Other parts: RCD skid plate, HID headlights and fog lights, T-Rex one piece grill, powder coated Anthracite by Master Coatings with added spikes to scare little children, smoothed and painted bumper cover, Solid front sway bar, AMP research running boards, Viair 450 compressor with 7-gallon air supply tank, air horn of course! Color-matched Escalade door and tailgate handles as well as door mirrors, Titan 52-gallon fuel tank with skid, Bedrug, Softopper canvas collapsible shell, brake light under tailgate, two backup cameras, full size spare, tinted windows and windshield, slightly tinted taillights, 4-inch turbo-back stainless steel exhaust with 6-inch RBP tip in front of rear tire.
Favorite off-road area: Glamis, Dumont Dunes, Sand Mountain, Nevada, Jawbone—even Pismo in the summer.


Baja Cruiser

Vehicle: ’07 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Owner: Timo Kallen
Location: Calexico, California
Chassis: Stock
Engine: 4.0L V-6, TRD intake and exhaust, throttle body spacer
Drivetrain: Five-speed A750F automatic, VF2A T-case, limited slip rear with 3.73 gears
Suspension: Bilstein 5100 shocks in the front, Bilstein 5160 shocks in the rear
Steering: Stock
Brakes: Stock
Tires/Wheels: 285/75R16 BFGoodrich All Terrains on 16-inch TRD wheels
Interior: Kenwood two-way radio
Other parts: Three 7-inch HID lights mounted on Defiant light bar, Optima Yellow Top battery
Favorite off-road area: “Baja 500 race course. I’ve been all the way down Baja to Cabo San Lucas and never miss a race in Baja.”

Classic K-10 Monster

Vehicle: 1972 Chevy K-10 
Owner: Jeff Meadows
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Chassis: Stock
Engine: Built 383ci stroker Chevy V-8, Patriot aluminum cylinder heads, 10:1 compression, MSD 6A ignition, Hooker headers, Flowmaster mufflers
Drivetrain: SM465 four-speed manual, Pro Fab T-Case, Dana 60 front with ARB air locker, Dana 60 rear with ARB air locker, 5.38 gears
Suspension: Full custom arched leaf springs for 36 inches of lift, Fabtech Dirt Logic reservoir shocks
Steering: Full Hydraulic steering
Brakes: 1-ton brakes
Tires/wheels: 19.5 x 54-inch Super Swamper Boggers on custom 20x10 steel wheels
Interior: Original interior with custom Pioneer JL head unit, Amp and subwoofer
Others Parts: Fluidine radiator, lowered headlights and custom mud flaps to keep it street legal
Favorite Off-Road Area: Southern Arizona and Glamis


Forrest Krawlin’ WJ

Vehicle: 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ

Location: New Britain, Connecticut
Chassis: Stock
Engine: 4.7L V-8, K&N cold air intake
Drivetrain: 545RFE automatic, NV247 T-case, Dana 30 front with Vera Lock, Dana 44 rear with Vera lock, 3.73 gears, Rusty’s Off Road aftermarket front and rear driveshafts.
Suspension: Rock Krawler 6.5-inch long-arm lift with 2-inch coil over spacers, adjustable track bar, Rubicon Express front shocks and Bilstein shocks in the rear
Steering: After market Moog draglink and tie rods
Brakes: Stock
Tires/Wheels: 33x12.50R15 Definity Dakotas on 15-inch Black Rock Crawlers Wheels
Interior: Infinity Gold surround sound
Other Parts: Custom built roof rack not pictured.

Bug-Out Burban

Drivetrain: 700R4 automatic, NP208 T-case, Dana 44 front, semi-floating 14-Bolt rear, 4.11 gears
Suspension: Stock springs with KYB shocks.
Steering: Stock
Brakes: Bendix semi metallic pads
Tires/Wheels: 31x11.50R16 Bridgestone Deuler H/T on 16 x 8 black alloys
Interior: Third row delete, comfortable red interior, tinted windows
Other parts: Warn manual locking hubs, long range 40-gallon fuel tank.
