ONE YEAR OLD
Brookland, Arkansas resident Mike Gilmer's 2000 Chevy Z-71 was fresh off the showroom floor when the modifications began. First to go on was a 6-inch Superlift suspension system. However, Mike needed even more clearance than the lift provided so a 3-inch Performance Accessories body lift also was put into place. The result was that Mike had enough room to run 36x12.50 Super Swamper radials on 16x10 American Racing Atlas II wheels. Supplying the tunes is a Rockford Fosgate head unit along with two Rockford Punch 12-inch subs.
Barry Tatum's '91 Ford F-150 hails from Hartselle, Alabama. A 6-inch Superlift system, combined with Rough Country shocks and a custom-made 3-inch body lift, supplies plenty of room for 35x12.50 Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires on 15x12 aluminum wheels. Powering the Ford is a stock 302 V-8 that has been equipped with a dual exhaust system with glasspacks. The Dana 44 TTB front received a Trac-Lok while the stock 8.8-inch rear is equipped with an Auburn posi while both axles feature 4.56 gears. To freshen up the Ford a bit, new paint was sprayed on.
Ryan D'Ambra of Duvall, Washington, is the proud owner of this '82 Jeep Cherokee. First to go on was a 4-inch suspension lift and a 2-inch body lift. Enough clearance was gained to run 35-inch Swampers. Powering the Jeep is the original 258ci inline-six that is backed up by a 727 Torqueflite. Axles are a Dana 20 rear and Dana 44 front.
