Under the hood is a 383ci Chevy V-8 that produces an estimated 375 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. Its fed by a Summit Racing 20-gallon fuel cell and the engine has a variety of upgrades including an Edelbrock Air-Gap intake manifold, Howell throttle-body injection, Flow Tech Block Hugger headers, single 3"-diameter exhaust, and Flowmaster muffler. Electrical needs are met by a Painlesss Performance 18-circuit wiring harness, Optima BlueTop battery, and dual alternators (one is a Premier Power Welder 160-amp unit and the other is a single-wire 90-amp unit). A Be Cool two-row aluminum radiator with dual 13.5-inch Flex-a-lite electric fans helps keep the powerplant cool. Power is routed through a heavily modified, NorCal Transmission-built TH350. Faloni didn’t want any problems with the trans because it is built to take a beating. Some of its mods include a TCI reverse manual valvebody with engine braking, GM torque converter with anti-balooning plates, cryogenically frozen output shaft, & remote filter.
